The 2nd Skin Co., is a luxury fashion label created in 2006 by the super talented duo Antonio Burillo and Juan Carlos Fernández. We are excited to bring their entire prêt-a-porter line of sophisticated, romantic and feminine pieces with an urban twist to Runway2Street. The duo designs for women of any age who enjoys fine quality, beautiful tailoring and timeless styles.
The sophisticated simplicity of the designs, their masterful cuts and sewing techniques set them apart. We love the use of rich textured fabrics, delicate ruffles with hints of shine and sparkle to make you feel special. All of their pieces are made to order and are handcrafted at their Madrid atelier with attention to detail and beautiful finishes.
The 2nd Skin Co has the ability to balance fun and flirty elements with refined and sophisticated silhouettes. The Tabancos collection showcases a number of versatile pieces that showcase SS17 fashion trends without being overpowering. Ruffles and floral motifs are at the forefront of the label’s collection this season and they are displayed literally and abstractly throughout. An array of beautiful embroidery and premium fabrics are both displayed in harmony with the sweet silhouettes shown throughout this collection.
Building upon the signature femininity of The 2nd Skin Co., 2ND LAB is a sister label that adds a fresh, modern sensibility to smart dressing with the Pre-Fall collection. Easy opulence lies at the heart of the label's aesthetics: shimmering sequins team up with fil coupé fabric for effortlessly poised ensembles. Elevate your cold-weather wardrobe with regally beautiful dresses, sharply tailored separates and sumptuous winter coats.
Inspired by the romantic decadence of the seventies, The 2nd Skin Co. Soul collection defines the polished femininity at the heart of the label's aesthetics. Regally beautiful evening gowns consort with exquisite fur coats for a dreamy presentation, one that pays homage to the 70s cinema's muses Catherine Deneuve, Bianca Jagger and the likes. Cascading satin silk, brocades and rhinestones build on the garments' lustre, while signature silhouettes such as the one-shoulder drapery and thigh-high slits put a modern take on the classically elegant silhouettes.
